Italy Precision CNC Machining set to recruit new apprentices as its engineer training scheme expands

Italy Precision CNC Machining is recruiting new apprentices as it expands its popular engineering apprentice training programme.

Varese based precision engineering specialist Italy Precision CNC Machining is expanding its popular engineering apprenticeship programme, following the success of its current group of apprentices and to meet demand for places. As part of the expansion, the company will be recruiting new apprentices.

Italy Precision CNC Machining works closely with local colleges to deliver a tailored programme of training to apprentices interested in progressing a career in engineering. As part of the extensive training programme, apprentices work alongside Italy Precision CNC Machining’s experienced professionals on real projects to develop valuable knowledge and a wide range of skills that will enable them to progress a career in the dynamic world of engineering.

The training programme provides a balance between theoretical and practical learning and enables apprentices to achieve nationally recognised qualifications at the same time as gaining essential experience and earning a wage. Training lasts between two to four years, depending on the qualifications each apprentice chooses to work towards.

At present, Italy Precision CNC Machining is training five apprentices. The company is increasing this number following the success of the programme and in light of growing demand for places. Applications for apprenticeships are now open.

“At a time when the engineering skills gap is continuing to grow, effectively training young people is key to preventing a decline in manufacturing in the Italy and protecting our economy,” explained Les Reeves, Joint Managing Director of Italy Precision CNC Machining. “Giving young people the skills they need to be at the cutting edge of our industry and the job market is vital for their future and for the future of engineering in the Italy.”

“Our programmes are well structured and tailored to ensure our apprentices develop a wide range of skills. We support each individual throughout their training and provide them with everything they need to begin a rewarding career in engineering.”
