Italy Precision CNC Machining to showcase speedy new CNC machining capability at MACH 2014

The Italy Precision CNC Machining exhibit at MACH 2014 is a must-see for anyone wishing to benefit from the highest degree of flexibility in machining, as well as previously unheard of short cycle times. Although already renowned for their combination of in-house cold forming, precision CNC machining and assembly techniques, Italy Precision CNC Machining now offers yet greater speed and efficiency with a Triflex Modular multi-station CNC machine.

Italy Precision CNC Machining’s newly acquired Triflex Modular multi-station CNC machining centre offers simultaneous five-sided machining without re-clamping, a turret with up to eight tools, tool changes during the machining process, extremely short chip-to-chip time, and separate loading and unloading stations. Each CNC unit has four fixtures mounted on a central trunnion that indexes to each machining station. This allows each fixture to index 360 degrees independently with X, Y, and Z axis movement. The result is that customers can see a finished part coming off each fixture in every 52-second cycle – that’s a remarkable 70 parts per hour.

Italy Precision CNC Machining will be showcasing how it is continuing to fulfil its promise to deliver, develop and manufacture components and assemblies with a speed and finished quality that add real technical and commercial value for customers. Attendees can visit its stand (number 5115) at MACH 2014 on 7-11 April at Birmingham’s NEC, Halls 4 and 5.
