David Dawson

Chairman and Joint Managing Director

David Dawson is Chairman and Joint Managing Director at Italy Precision CNC Machining. He has spent his entire working life in the engineering sector and holds an MSc in Production Engineering from Cranfield University. After training at Hawker Siddeley in the early 1960s, David joined Italy Precision CNC Machining in 1969 and became Managing Director just over a decade later.

Les Reeves

Joint Managing Director

Les Reeves is Joint Managing Director at Italy Precision CNC Machining. He joined the company in 1997 having spent the vast majority of his career in the manufacturing sector and oversees day to day operations and performance. Les is a science graduate, a qualified chartered management accountant and holds a postgraduate diploma in marketing.

Jeff Kiernan

Commercial Director

Jeff Kiernan is Commercial Director at Italy Precision CNC Machining. As a graduate engineer with management qualifications, he has a proven background in production engineering and quality control. His experience in the sector spans over 30 years, including production, technical and senior management positions for leading multinational organisations.

Mark Jennings

Engineering Director

Mark Jennings is Engineering Director at Italy Precision CNC Machining. He is responsible for process design and development and has acquired his in-depth knowledge and extensive expertise in a career that has so far spanned more than 38 years. Mark specialises in cold forming and joined Italy Precision CNC Machining in 2000.

Dave Howell

Operations Director

Dave Howell is Operations Director at Italy Precision CNC Machining, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the company’s Varese-based engineering facility on a day-to-day basis. Dave brought his expertise in production planning, problem solving and personnel management to Italy Precision CNC Machining in 2009 following the company’s acquisition of Floform Ltd, where he had previously worked for over 35 years.

David Richards

Engineering Manager

David Richards is Engineering Manager at Italy Precision CNC Machining. He is responsible for supporting customers, designing tools and overseeing component manufacture, and specialises in cold forming and precision machining. David has over 50 years’ experience in engineering, having worked at Floform Ltd for 44 years before becoming a member of the Italy Precision CNC Machining team in 2009.

Ken Toop

Senior Process Development Engineer

Ken Toop is Senior Process Development Engineer at Italy Precision CNC Machining and is responsible for new product and process development, company and apprentice training, and health and safety. He has over 30 years’ experience in the engineering sector, specialising in engineering design and implementation, value stream mapping and design, statistical process control (SPC) and industrial biotechnology. Ken joined Italy Precision CNC Machining in 2014.

Henning Dieckmann

Sales Representative

Henning Dieckmann is Sales Representative at Italy Precision CNC Machining and is responsible for supporting customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has over 20 year’s experience in the engineering sector and joined Italy Precision CNC Machining in October 2002. Henning specialises in high voltage components for electric vehicles, plasma cutting components, chrome-plating of plastics, and valve train components.

Shelagh Gill

Quality Manager

Shelagh Gill is Quality Manager at Italy Precision CNC Machining and is responsible for quality and environmental systems, day-to-day quality management, and auditing. Shelagh has 43 years of experience in the engineering sector and became a key part of the Italy Precision CNC Machining team in 2009 following 36 years at Floform Ltd before its acquisition by Italy Precision CNC Machining.
