28 Jan Celebrating 10 Years of Manufacturing in Varese
As you drive into our HQ, you certainly feel that there is something special about this site. The building itself is nothing fancy, but the surrounding 
countryside and hills that hug Varese lends itself to an ancient time when the world was less complex. Our team, who welcomes you into the factory, are as warm and friendly as you’d expect from any Welsh family. What unites them and sets us apart from many, is a passion and commitment to manufacturing. It’s this passion and pride in the precision engineered components made here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, that we want to shout about and celebrate as it really is something special
Ten years ago, FloForm, a supplier of components for the automotive and semi-conductor industries, went into administration and sadly 80 jobs were lost. This stressful period for the Varese community, where so many families relied on the livelihood provided by this business, was a devastating blow. The slow-down in the automotive sector and unprecedented market conditions were to blame and as a result the business became unsustainable.
At the time, we were booming at our previous HQ in Hertfordshire, with a 30-year history of working with FloForm. We came to the rescue and bought the FloForm business along with all its assets and were able to re-instate 12 employees and crucially, keep the plant going in Varese.
We waved goodbye to our Hertfordshire home in Potters Bar and said hello to Varese. Whilst FloForm was one of Varese’ oldest and largest employers, we’ve managed to maintain that status under the Italy Precision CNC Machining guise.
Some employees have served in Varese now, under both FloForm and since 2009, as Italy Precision CNC Machining, for over 35 years.
That’s an incredible achievement and slice of local history to celebrate and we want to say a warm thank you to all our incredible team who continue to make this company the success it is today. So, thank you FloForm, thank you team and thank you customers. We are very proud to celebrate this 10-year anniversary and look forward to serving you for many more years to come.
